Our History
In November of 2006, the first local Game Exchange USA location
was opened in Nicholasville, Ky by Albert Crout. It was the family-owned business
created to be an alternative to corporate "Used" game stores. With the essence
of a true customer service that no corporate competitor could compare, Game Exchange
USA has flourished, expanding into many "Hometown USA"s, growing exponentially each
year. Thomas Crout, the nephew of Albert took action in the IT development
of the company to ensure consistency across the stores commerce, customer service
policies and procedures, maintaining inventory and price updates. Game Exchange
USA Online was the next step in Thomas's opinion, as the first official online trading
storefront available to Video Game Fans throughout the company. Trading online
was the next logical step toward the innovation of the consumer video game industry
to save money by allowing customers to trade their perfectly working used games
for credit toward another game completely of their choice. Providing this
service online allows everyone the chance at this opportunity no matter where they
are located in the country.
